Global showcase for climate innovations
Entrepreneurs around the world are developing innovative solutions to meet the climate challenge. WWF's new 'Climate Solver' website showcases some of these technologies to raise awareness of the importance of innovation in the fight against climate change.
Some ideas are already global products whilst others are still in the design phase. With the right support, entrepreneurs can bring them to life, benefitting the environment and changing the way people live, work and travel.
Innovations are divided into four categories- living, moving, supplying energy and enabling. Visitors can read more about the different techologies and learn about their climate benefits. SkyCab, for example, is a driverless vehicle that travels on elevated guideways and carries up to four passengers at a time, generating no emissions or noise pollution.
